BROTHER: Maxwell, 11.

history
Braxton Chittock, 11th Baron Wellesley, was a graduate student at Oxford when he met his wife Rosalyn. Roz was beautiful, vibrant, spoiled, and far too charming for her own good. Braxton was smitten, and, after a brief courtship and engagement, the two were wed in a lavish ceremony at the Wellesley estate in Essex. By this time, Braxton was well on his way to a successful career in banking; working his way up the corporate ladder at the Royal Bank of England. The young couple wasted no time in starting a family, and Roz, with the help of a troop of nurses, maids, and governesses, stayed at home to raise Imogen, Hollis, Glenda, and Maxwell.

To her credit, it wasn't until Maxwell was a toddler that Roz became restless. It soon became apparent that Roz much preferred high society to her comparitively mundane life at home. She began to spend increasingly long periods of time away from Braxton and the children, visiting her similarly well-married, wealthy friends, attending galas, taking shopping excursions to Paris and Milan, and 'participating' in all of the fashionable causes. To this day, she remains a relatively absent figure, and Glennie is (although she'd never admit it out loud) rather resentful of this.

Braxton, on the other hand, was far more interested in his children, and knew from very early on that his Glennie was something special. The youngest and most charming of his three daughters, Glennie was the apple of his eye. As such, he didn't fail to notice that strange things tended to happen around her. While it was certainly a shock to learn of the wizarding world, it wasn’t a stretch to realise that his young daughter belonged in such a magical place.

Glennie was thrilled when she received her Hogwarts letter. A whimsical and imaginative child, she did not - not even for a moment - doubt the validity of it. The day she learned she was a witch was the happiest day of her life, and she delights in every aspect of the wizarding world.

personality
Glenda Chittock is the kind of girl you'd love to hate, but can't help but like.

Beautiful, vivacious, and popular, Glennie adores being the centre of attention - she is completely in her element when all eyes are on her. While not particularly 'book smart,' she is clever and quick-witted, fun-loving and always up for a laugh. She is a whirlwind of energy and exuberance, which can (and this is something she just does not get) be tiring in large doses.

Glennie can be shallow at times, and has a bit of a vain streak. She feels the being beautiful is a full-time job, and, as such, spends an inordinate amount of time grooming herself. She's spent countless hours mastering various beauty charms and is usually in high demand for formal events. Of course, this is just fine with her - she loves giving makeovers.

She was spoiled as a child (and now, as a teenager), and is used to getting what she wants. Because of this, she tends to expect the best of everything to just fall into her lap, and can be rather petulant when things don’t go her way.

The thing about Glennie is...she has a good heart. She means well and is, in general, one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. She has a soft spot for the underdog and often tries to take them under her wing. Sometimes, however, her intentions aren’t as altruistic as they could be, and sometimes, even the best of intentions can yield disastrous results. Basically, she has a lot of room to grow, but she's on the right path.

miscellaneous
AT SCHOOL
CLASSES:Charms, Transfiguration, Divination, Potions, Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures, History of Magic.
CLUBS/ACTIVITIES:Charms Club, Slug Club, has been trying to start a Drama Club for years. She doesn't play Quidditch, but is a great supporter of her house team. If Hogwarts had cheerleaders, she’d be the captain.

VIEWS
ON VOLDEMORT: A nasty fellow. She doesn't know much about what he's done, but would be outraged if she did.
ON BLOOD PURITY: Silly. She’s muggleborn, and look how wonderful she is!
ON THE OTHER HOUSES: Hufflepuffs are sweet dears, and she thinks they’re just adorable. Ravenclaws are smart, but some of them are pretty uptight. Slytherins are pretty mean. At least some of them. Some of the boys are dishy, though.

LIKES: Disco music, fairy tales, her hair, boys, being the centre of attention, clothes, her daddy, shopping, dancing, flavoured lip gloss, cute animals, ice skating, Julie Andrews, strawberries, tennis.
DISLIKES: Being alone, boredom, dirt, trolls, mean people, hats, thunderstorms.

TALENTS: Friendly, outgoing, helpful, good with charms and transfiguration, acting, singing, being gorgeous.
FLAWS: Terrible at potions and herbology (slime, dirt, bugs, ew...), shallow, vain, spoiled.

LOVE INTERESTS: Straight/none yet. Although she does have a thing for bad boys. And good boys. Okay, boys. She loves a good snog, and has seen her fair share of broom closets. At this point, she is a virgin, but it's unlikely she'll remain that way for long. She feels that sexuality is perfectly natural - especially for the young and beautiful.

ASTROLOGICAL SIGN: Leo
Leo is the fifth sign of the zodiac and rules the back, the spine, and the heart. Positive traits include creativity, charisma, generosity, warmth, enthusiasm, a natural talent for leadership, and a great deal of inner power; negative traits are haughtiness, snobbery, an expectation that one is the centre of attention and should be waited on by everyone else, profligacy, lack of realism, dominance that can lead to bullying, and a refusal to change one's mind even in the face of solid facts..

This is a natural sign for Gryffindors, not least because the griffin is part lion. Gryffindors born under this sign are outgoing, friendly, affectionate, and likeable. They make friends easily and are crushed when their advances are rejected. Their romantic, chivalrous nature makes them perfect examples of all that is best in their House. However, they are also bossy, domineering, spendthrift, and overly dramatic (ever heard the phrase "drama queen?") They have sharp tempers and need to learn to direct their anger toward only needful causes. The natural creativity and flamboyance of Leo makes Gryffindors born under this sign good at most everything they attempt, provided they apply themselves to learning magic rather than using magic to hog the limelight. (taken from birds of a feather)

RANDOM FACTS:
1. Her boggart is herself: small, insignificant, and invisible to everyone around her.
2. She's afraid of thunderstorms.
3. If one were to see beneath the glitter and glitz, one would find a vulnerable and scared little girl. She's terrified of rejection, and this is one of the reasons why she never stops - why she's always "on."
